The story of Sarah’s Handmade caught the attention of producers at Voice of America. We were very excited to be a part of a mini documentary series featuring immigrant stories. Please click here to watch the documentary. Please note that half of the documentary is in Korean, as majority of the audience are Korean. Sarah explains that back in 2000, when she had first immigrated to the US, she had to do whatever necessary to make ends meet and raise her daughter Annie on her own. After 18 years, she decided to turn her hobby making into a commercial business, which has been an absolute joy to see it grow in the community where she and Annie have been calling home for the past 20+ years.
